‘One for the thumb’, a rally cry from Steelers fans years ago to cheer on their team for their 5th superbowl.  This is our ‘one for the thumb’ as we open our 5th office.

We are really excited as we open our Huntingdon office.  We are located in the Sill Business Incubator and we are members of the chamber of commerce.  We have connections to Juniata College and to the local community.

Local business people, representatives from the chamber and Juniata College as well as a number of the county commissioners showed up to welcome Perry Wellington Realty to the region.

We are pretty excited about the reception customers have to our company.  Just over a year ago we formed a new real estate brokerage with over 25 agents and 5 offices locally owned and operated connecting our region together into one super brokerage with the power to sell your home like never seen before.

Most exciting is the commitment we have from our staff.  They are eager to help change the way real estate is transacted in our region.  Our pricing is but one piece of what we do.  Our marketing approach is second to none.  Our advocacy for our clients (No Dual agency) is another.  Clients LOVE the fact we will be representing them in their transaction and making sure we get them their best deal.

Which brings us back to Huntingdon and our opening.   Present from Perry Wellington  Realty (pictured) is Lora Larimer, Adam Conrad, Ted Manna, Matt Stolarski and George Pisanick.  We are very fortunate to have a staff who is so involved.  We are also pleased that we are kicking off our new office with our first Huntingdon listing.

Huntingdon is in an area which we believe will benefit strongly from our ability to cross-post properties into multiple MLS’s.  We have talked about this before, and this is a very helpful ability.  Being able to list a property on the MLS and have it show up in other MLS’s exposes a seller’s property to clients in adjacent counties.  Huntingdon is connected to Blair and Centre counties, and those counties are each part of a different MLS system.  This means that a seller in Huntingdon county has to choose – do I use a Huntingon agent (of which there are slightly over 50) – do I use a Blair/Bedford County based agent (roughly 250) or use a Centre County based agent (roughly 350).   The best answer is to use a Perry Wellington Realty agent who can list the home in ALL 3 MLS’s and get exposure to ALL 650 agents!

We thought you would agree.  We hope that our approach meets your needs, and we hope you will spread the word!
